Automatic closure never adds recording samples or fills genuine GPS gaps. Manual drawing is explicitly reviewed static geometry. A pit lane needs schema 3 support on the server and a normal TCU application update before it can be applied to an older TCU. Saving does not prepare, deliver or activate timing.
